Seven tents imported from South Africa are home to luxuriously appointed rooms with en-suite bathrooms. These rooms may seem like five-star hotel rooms that just happen to be housed in a tent in the jungle. But the character and service evoke the timeless courtesy and style of the days of Maharajas and Kings. Sited on raised platforms, each tent has its own private viewing deck. And the view is one as if time stood still. The vista roams over meadowland to the river and the national park beyond. A mugger crocodile may float in deceptive idleness by the riverbank. Or the greater one-horned rhino, deer and a flutter of birds wander past in sublime indifference to the humans nearby.
